Token Overview

$SXMR is the native utility and incentive token of the SxMiner protocol. It is deployed as an SPL (Solana Program Library) token on the Solana blockchain and serves as the financial backbone of the network. All functions — from mining reward allocation to governance voting and staking — are executed through $SXMR.

5.2 Utility of $SXMR

The design of $SXMR emphasizes both functional utility and long-term alignment with protocol value. Key use cases include:

a) Mining Power Access

Users must hold $SXMR to access mining power on the platform. The current conversion rate (subject to DAO governance) may be:

500,000 $SXMR = 100 TH mining power

Users who stake or lock their tokens are eligible for proportionate BTC earnings generated from the global SxMiner network.

b) Staking Rewards

By staking $SXMR, users can earn:

  • Additional BTC rewards

  • Yield in $SXMR or LP tokens

  • Voting rights for on-chain proposals

  • Access to exclusive node slots or governance tiers

The longer the staking period, the greater the reward multiplier.

c) DeFi Integration

SxMiner plans to integrate $SXMR with leading Solana-based DeFi protocols to enable:

  • Yield farming

  • Collateralized borrowing

  • Automated market making (AMM) via $SXMR-wBTC pairs

  • Liquidity pool mining rewards

This gives users greater capital efficiency and yield optionality beyond mining.

d) Boosts and Discounts

Users can optionally burn or spend $SXMR to access:

  • Mining priority boosts (temporary hashpower increases)

  • Platform service discounts (e.g., hardware onboarding fees)

  • NFT upgrades (for tokenized mining hardware)

  • Participation in exclusive DAO tiers or events

This burn-to-access model helps balance token supply and incentivize active usage.
